Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead business development efforts in the Industrial Consumables sector. This role focuses on driving growth across key verticals including Raw Materials, Cement, Iron & Steel, Pulp & Paper, and Textile industries. The ideal candidate will have deep domain knowledge, strong technical acumen, and a proven ability to manage distribution channels and build lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities across industrial sectors such as cement, steel, textiles, and paper manufacturing.
- Collaborate with internal teams—Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Product Management—to maximize market penetration.
- Leverage distributor networks to expand reach and drive end-user engagement.
- Organize customer meets, technical symposiums, and seminars to enhance brand visibility and product awareness.
- Ensure distributor coverage and density meets regional demand and service expectations.
- Analyze product gaps and geographic whitespace to develop targeted expansion strategies.
- Track performance metrics and contribute to quarterly business reviews and strategic planning.

Required Skills
- Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in sales and marketing within the Industrial Consumables space.
- Strong understanding of product applications and process flows in sectors like cement, steel, textiles, and pulp & paper.
- Familiarity with distribution models and indirect sales channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
